GeoSWAG Is NOT Just For Kids!

Sure, the kids LOVE to trade toys and fun stuff in geocaches but geoswag is for us adults who know how to have fun too!

Since the beginning of geocaching, we have come a long way. Companies are even seeing the benefits of releasing swag out into the world.

One of the most famous is Jeep. They started a contest by putting tiny toy Jeeps into geocaches. They each had their own special code. When you found one of these, you would not only log it with your geocaching club but also online with Jeep. They held drawings from the names of the finders to give away actual Jeeps. How's that for a grown-up toy!

Geocoins are another way many people enjoy the trading aspect of treasure hunting. These range from ordinary to rare and elegant. You can even design your own!

S.W.A.G. can still be a lot of fun. Take the time to pick out some neat stuff and others will too.

Travelbugs are also pretty cool geoswag. They have tags to keep track of them. You don't get to keep these though! I accidentally kept one for months once and felt really bad when its parents had to ask me for it back.
